Official digital platform for Public Television of Russia (PTR)

Task

A federal Russian TV channel needed a stable and modern online platform capable of handling high traffic volumes, providing access to live broadcasts, informational segments, and interactive content. Key requirements included rapid responsiveness during peak loads without loss of broadcast quality, and the development of user-friendly mobile apps for iOS and Android to ensure easy access from all devices.

Solution

We created a scalable digital architecture, combining web and mobile apps into a unified ecosystem. The website was enhanced with multimedia broadcasting capabilities and dedicated news sections, while the mobile apps simplified access to live streams and additional services. Distributed server solutions and CDN were used to ensure smooth streaming, maintaining high loading speeds and stability during heavy traffic. Interactive features, including feedback services, polls, and special engagement projects, were integrated to boost audience interaction.

Content Analytics and Optimization

To analyze audience behavior, we implemented web and mobile analytics tools, enabling evaluation of content performance and timely adjustments of content strategy. This provided the TV channel with greater flexibility in scheduling broadcasts, allowing them to expand functionalities and introduce new sections seamlessly without disrupting existing services.

Result

The process of development and implementation took eight months, a team of ten specialists participated in it, including front-end and backend-developers, mobile engineers, designer, analyst and project manager. After the launch of the updated website and applications, the television channel noted the growth of online views on the air, an increase in the number of interactions with interactive services and more accurate metrics on the interests of the audience, which made it possible to quickly improve content and strengthen the position of the channel in the digital space.
