
Task
To create a comprehensive housing booking service combining a client-facing platform with a robust hotel management system. It was essential to develop a dedicated CRM to manage the entire workflow—from incoming reservations and online payments to detailed demand analytics. A crucial requirement was ensuring the platform could effortlessly scale and handle rapid user growth.


Solution
We designed and developed a multi-layered architecture where the frontend provides users with quick and convenient accommodation search and booking capabilities. The backend includes modules for managing room inventory, financial operations, and settlements. The newly implemented CRM unified reservation management, customer tracking, and analytics, enhancing database management and transparency of business processes. Integration with payment gateways and automated mailing systems improved customer experience and real-time interactions. Currently, the service manages over 96,000 properties across Russia and efficiently handles increased loads without compromising performance.

Thanks to its flexible modular architecture, Ugolok has become one of the largest projects in our portfolio. The custom-built CRM system automated most internal processes and provided businesses with powerful analytical tools for strategic planning and growth. During development, we designed the platform to allow rapid onboarding of new properties and services, ensuring reliable operation even with significant user-base expansion.

Result
The development and implementation took about a year, during peak periods a team of fifteen people worked on the service: analysts, backend and frontend engineers, DevOps specialists and UX/UI designers. The modular design of the service ensures stable operation under high load and gives the customer the opportunity to quickly respond to changes in demand, form partnership offers and track key performance indicators. Now Ugolok has already connected 96 thousand hotels throughout Russia and continues to expand its geographic presence, improving the quality of service and convenience for customers.
